Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1997 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase as AURORA is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 receiving rave reviews from music blogs as well as the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard within her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. The singer says that she simply likes writing music. She claims that music is her favorite way of feeling something.
