Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the most wealthy and most affluent. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released Like Father Like Son. He has also released a number of singles, including Judge Not with Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as How Does The Cap Go remix and Sensimelia. All of them helped contribute to Ky's growing popularity among the new generation of reggae musicians. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell and Fugees (as part of Avenue) is a huge rendition of a cover of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue was released in the year 1997. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class music showcase which was held in Miami. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley was part of a biddi
